There’s something about the color blue in a drink that takes me on a journey.
Blue tea, or butterfly pea flower tea, is a caffeine-free herbal concoction, made by seeping dried or fresh leaves of the Clitoria ternatea plant. The best thing about the blue tea is that it is absolutely caffeine-free, and it is packed with antioxidants. I love using it to make a variety of drinks and this milkshake is an absolute favorite.
- ¾ cup milk (oat milk, almond milk, coconut milk)
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
- ¼ teaspoon butterfly pea flower powder (blue matcha)
Blend together and enjoy!
